Suvess R. Ricks is the Associate Superintendent for General Administration in Douglas County Schools where she has been employed since 1985. Her previous experience was in the state of Florida. In Douglas County she has served as assistant principal at the high school level as well as an elementary and middle school principal. She also served as Middle School Director for the county's six middle schools. Prior to being appointed to her current position she was the Associate Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. Recently named to the Share House Board of Directors, she also serves on the Board of Directors for the West Georgia Regional Library Board, the Douglas County Library Board, and Georgia Lighthouse Schools. She has attended and presented at the National Middle School Association's National Conferences and is a trained consultant with NMSA on the Middle School Toolkit. She and her husband are the proud parents of two children and the ecstatic grandparents of Camille.
