Mrs. Jane Fuqua
Past President

Jane Fuqua, a native of the Atomic City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, retired two years ago as Associate Superintendent of Educational Leadership in Forsyth County. Prior to that, she was a middle school principal in Forsyth and Cobb. She taught middle grades for 15 years, and is a dedicated advocate of middle level education. Jane's undergraduate degree is from Georgia State University, and she holds masters degrees from West Georgia and the University of Tennessee. She earned her education specialist from Jacksonville State University. She spends her time doing consulting work and playing "nana" to seven granddaughters. Jane and her husband, Mac, now make their home in Dalton.
