Mr. Bruce Fraser

Mr. Bruce Fraser was born and reared in Ottawa, Canada. He completed undergraduate degrees in Economics and Recreology at the University of Ottawa before pursuing his Education degree at The University of Maine. Mr. Fraser began teaching middle school in Louisiana while working on his M.Ed. in Administration at the University of Southern Mississippi. He began work with Fulton County in 1999 and, after completing a year-long administrative internship with the county, joined the leadership team at Webb Bridge Middle School in 2002. Mr. Fraser completed his Ed.S degree at the State University of West Georgia in the spring of 2004. He was hired as the Principal at Northwestern Middle School in the fall of 2005 and begins his 5th year at that location. The journey to transform NMS from a junior high to a middle school has solidified his commitment to the middle school philosophy.

His extracurricular interests include weight training, golf and boating. He is a proud supporter of the Ottawa Senators; however, the Atlanta Thrashers are slowly winning him over.
