Dr. Robert L. Heaberlin, Jr.
Corporate Sponsorship Liaison

Dr. Heaberlin is an experienced educator with over 35 years of service in education. He is the principal of Lee Middle School in Coweta County and has served in that position since 2006. Prior to coming to Lee Middle, Dr. Heaberlin served as a principal at the elementary and high school levels. He is also on staff at the University of West Georgia as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership.

During his career, Dr, Heaberlin has presented at numerous educational conferences both in state and across the nation on a variety of topics. An advocate for education, Dr. Heaberlin serves on educational and community boards to lend his expertise to a variety of organizations. Currently, he is also a member of the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education and has served as the President of the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders and the Georgia Middle School Principal’s Association. Dr. Heaberlin has also served on Congressman Phil Gingrey’s Educational Advisory Committee and the NASSP MetLife Foundation Bridge Builders’ Grant Evaluation Committee.

This lifelong commitment to education has earned Dr. Heaberlin well deserved individual and school accolades and recognitions. The most recent were the 2009 GAMSP Effective Middle School Program Award; 2008 Georgia Middle School Association President’s Award; and the 2008 Georgia Middle School Team of the Year Award.
